Senior Accountant

Responsibilities include:

• Monthly financial statement close work completed in accordance with closing schedules
• Ensuring monthly financials are submitted in Hyperion for financial review and consolidation
• Reviewing and taking corrective action on any intercompany mismatches monthly
• Preparing monthly bank reconciliations and partnering with accounts payable to resolve any bank differences
• Preparing monthly recurring journal entries, business re-charges, loan interest and any additional accrual journal entries
• Perform variance analysis to budget and forecast.
• Assist Controller during the budget cycle
• Preparing documentation for External Auditors
• Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas

Requirements include:

• Bachelors or advanced degree in accounting
• 3-4+ years of experience in public accounting - mid to larger sized firms preferred
• Strong attention to detail as well as written and verbal communication skills
• CPA preferred, but not required
