This 268-bed regional referral center serves as a level 2 trauma facility providing comprehensive healthcare services to the community. The hospital is part of a well-established healthcare network and offers state-of-the-art facilities with Epic EMR system for seamless patient care documentation.

Physician - Surgery - Cardiovascular

Job Details:
• Provide 24-hour cardiothoracic surgery coverage for hospital operations
• Perform CABG and valve cases as primary surgical responsibilities
• Provide thoracic coverage for level 2 trauma center operations
• Must be able to handle both cardiac and thoracic cases as requirement
• Coverage needed for vacation relief starting September 8th with ongoing needs
• Specific coverage dates include July 14-25, August 11-17, and August 30-September 1
• Board Certification in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery required
• Active state license highly preferred, will accept IMLC
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications required
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
• Self-Query NPDB report mandatory within 30 days of presentation
• Credentialing timeframe of 60-90 days
• Epic EMR system utilized for patient documentation
• Average callback hours approximately 4 hours per shift
