We are seeking a dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our specialized inpatient and residential programs. You will play a crucial role in a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of adolescents aged 12-17. This is an opportunity to provide high‑quality, patient‑ and family‑centered care within a structured, therapeutic milieu designed to help young people return to their communities and thrive. The Opportunity As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric care to adolescents experiencing acute mental health crises. Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations, formulating diagnoses, and developing individualized treatment plans for patients in our adolescent inpatient unit. Leading ongoing care management, including admissions, discharges, and medication management. Providing crisis intervention and stabilization for a wide range of acute psychiatric and co‑occurring disorders. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, social workers, certified alcohol and drug counselors, nurses, and educational staff to ensure integrated and comprehensive care. Actively participating in treatment team meetings and engaging with families to provide updates, support, and education. Working closely with our on‑site East Mountain School to coordinate academic support and ensure a seamless transition for patients. Opportunity requirements M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Must hold or be eligible for a New Jersey Medical License, CDS, and DEA. The minimum base salary for this position is $275,000. Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
