The Barista creates a welcoming customer experience by preparing and serving quality coffee, tea, beverages, and food items while providing friendly, efficient service. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve specialty coffee, tea, beverages, and food items according to standards. Provide friendly, professional customer service and respond to customer needs. Operate the register, process payments, and follow cash-handling procedures. Maintain clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready work areas. Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, safety, and security procedures. Maintain knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, hotel services, and local area information. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Resolve customer concerns professionally. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous chain food, beverage, or retail experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills. Ability to multitask, learn quickly, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Must meet company security clearance requirements. Physical & Scheduling Requirements Ability to push/pull up to 60 lbs. and lift/carry up to 30 lbs. Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, bend, stretch, and reach.
