Inside Sales Consultant

Salary Range: $65,625.00 To $87,500.00 Annually Warner Pacific – OHIO The Inside Sales Consultant is responsible for working in conjunction with an assigned Sales Consultant in high volume territories to maximize sales. This role will also be responsible for recruiting and engaging new brokers to place their group medical and specialty business through Warner Pacific. In addition, the Inside Sales Consultant will conduct training seminars/webinars describing the tools, services and opportunities available to them through Warner Pacific. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Work in conjunction with the assigned Sales Consultant to meet and/or exceed monthly and annual assigned sales goals. Develop and implement sales strategies with the assigned Sales Consultant in order to acquire new medical and specialty business through agents/brokers. Support all activity including broker inquiries in alignment with the assigned Sales Consultant, covering duties and assignments while Sales Consultant is out. Conducts broker training and assists agents with marketing activities. Maintain frequent and effective contact with brokers and build active selling relationships to increase sales of all product lines. Works as a liaison with product specialists to increase awareness of the specialty market and helps identify brokers for sales potential with these lines of coverage. Prospect new or inactive brokers to find sales opportunities in alignment with assigned Sales Consultant. Make outbound and follow up sales calls to dormant, active and high potential brokers. Handle inbound sales calls, email inquiries and product support questions from brokers. Demonstrate solid understanding of market factors, carriers, plans, benefits and guidelines in the Ohio insurance landscape as well as the Affordable Care Act. Evolving understanding of level-funded, self-funding and OOS dynamics. Make note of potential workflow enhancements and communicate with supervisor for consideration. Demonstrate consistent, outstanding judgment, honesty and integrity in all aspects of job performance. Record all activity in CRM tool (Salesforce) including but not limited to conversations, meetings (virtual and face to face), email communications, quote requests. Additional Skills and Requirements Minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent; advanced education or degree preferred. 3-5 years of health care/medical sales experience preferred. 2-3 years proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Preferred experience tracking sales activity in CRM tool. Must reside in Ohio. Valid Ohio life/health insurance license. Ability to think/act independently. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Exceptional written and oral communication, as well as experienced presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain and foster positive, open communication channels with internal and external customers. Computer literacy with proficiency in the Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint. Compensation Salary Range* - $65,625- $87,500 annually and bonus plan for achieving specific sales goals.
