This role focuses on the support of IBM DB2 for z/OS and related replication products. The position requires participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation and the ability to provide support during off-hours as needed. The successful candidate will interface with support teams, software vendors, and management, requiring strong communication and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities Perform software installation, version upgrades, and apply maintenance for IBM DB2 for z/OS and Replication products (Qrep, SQLrep, and CDC). Conduct certification testing for new software and upgrades. Develop and maintain documentation for operational procedures. Participate in disaster recovery testing exercises. Provide on-call support as part of a 24x7 rotation schedule. Collaborate with support teams, vendors, and management on technical issues. Utilize analytical and debugging skills to resolve complex database problems. Required Qualifications Experience with IBM DB2 for z/OS and Replication products (Qrep, SQLrep, and CDC), including software installation, upgrades, maintenance, and testing. Ability to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and provide off-hours support. Developed written and oral communication skills for interfacing with various teams. Analytical and debugging skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with software support for BMC for DB2 Tools, IBM z/OS Connect, and Software AG ADABAS and Natural products. Programming experience with REXX. Working knowledge of SQL, JIRA, SMP/E, RACF, TCP/IP, network certificates, and Splunk. Working knowledge of other Mainframe Subsystems such as CICS, IMS, or MQ.
