Key Responsibilities
- Install configure and administer Microsoft SQL Server environments
- Monitor database health availability and performance
- Perform database backup recovery refreshes and disaster recovery activities
- Manage High Availability and Disaster Recovery Always On Replication Log Shipping Mirroring
- Analyse and optimise slowrunning queries indexes and execution plans
- Troubleshoot blocking deadlocks performance issues and database corruption
- Implement database security user management and compliance controls
- Perform SQL Server patching upgrades and migrations
- Support database automation and operational excellence initiatives
