Step into a dynamic school setting near Princess Anne, MD, providing speech-language services on a contract basis for the upcoming academic year. This opportunity involves working with a manageable caseload and offers the unique responsibility of supervising an SLPA, making a significant difference for students who benefit from communication support.

Your schedule will span 20 to 25 hours each week, running from August 17th, 2026, through June 14th, 2027. The position supports onsite or hybrid engagement, as effective supervision of the SLPA is a vital part of the role.

Ideal candidates will bring the following:

• Active Maryland SLP license and state teaching certification
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Strong ability to balance direct services and supervision responsibilities
• Organizational skills for managing caseload documentation and compliance

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct speech-language therapy to a group of approximately 20 students
• Providing supervision and mentorship to an SLPA, ensuring high-quality services
• Collaborating with other staff and participating in team meetings as needed
• Conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and maintaining timely records
• Engaging in either onsite or hybrid service delivery to best meet student and district needs
