Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for clients, particularly children and individuals with developmental disabilities. Your expertise in applied behavior analysis will be crucial in providing effective behavioral therapy and support to enhance the quality of life for those you serve.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide training and support to staff, families, and caregivers on behavioral strategies and techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and intake assessments in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients with autism and other disabilities.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment planning and support services.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.
Experience
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is mandatory.
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis related to behavioral interventions.
- Familiarity with special education practices and working within educational settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and patient care protocols is essential.
