Assistant Casino Manager

Job Description The Assistant Casino Manager is responsible for maintaining the integrity and operational excellence of the Casino department through rigorous adherence to all gaming regulations, company policies, and exceptional guest service standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

Ensure full compliance with all applicable gaming regulations and company policies and procedures. Protect company assets by providing effective oversight and supervision of casino floor team members. Manage daily break rotations and review and authorize requests for "Early Outs" for table games staff. Develop and mentor table games staff through comprehensive training and professional development initiatives. Conduct systematic inspections of all gaming equipment and table game layouts to verify operational functionality and readiness for guest use. Address guest concerns and requests promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction and positive experiences. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Required Qualifications Minimum age of 21 years High school diploma or equivalent credential Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in table games operations, including comprehensive knowledge of all gaming offerings Demonstrated expertise in gaming regulations, compliance protocols, and operational procedures Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer‑centric approach Physical capability to perform standing and walking duties for extended periods throughout assigned shifts Ability to obtain and maintain all required gaming licenses and professional certifications Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Advanced certification in gaming management or hospitality operations Proven track record in staff development and team leadership within a gaming environment Boyd Gaming is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state, or local protected class.
