Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in sterile processing

License: Required certifications include CBSPD or CRCST

Certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA

Must-Have:

• Experience with decontamination and sterilization processes
• High-level disinfection experience
• Knowledge of sterile storage systems
• Experience as an OR liaison
• Proficiency in case cart management
• Familiarity with Censitrac tracking system

Description: We are seeking experienced candidates in all areas of sterile processing. Responsibilities include the decontamination of various items such as drills and scopes. Candidates will manage the sterilization process using Sterrad and steam methods. Experience with high-level disinfection and scope reprocessing is required. Candidates must effectively manage sterile storage and assist with case cart preparation. Taking OR calls for multiple floors of surgery may be required. Candidates should have knowledge of tracking systems for sterilized instruments. This role requires collaboration with operating room staff to ensure the safe reuse of medical supplies. The ideal candidate will be adept in organizing and preparing instrument trays for surgical procedures. Strong communication skills are essential as this role acts as a liaison between clinical teams. Travel experience is necessary for this position. Candidates should be prepared to work weekends and occasional holidays. Successful candidates will complete all credentialing requirements promptly.
