Staff Accountant

Job Description Job Description Job Description: Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join the finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in using NetSuite ERP software. Responsibilities: Perform daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and budget forecasts. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax filings. Maintain and update financial records ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting regulations. Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data accuracy and resolve accounting discrepancies. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions. Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation. Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification or progress towards CPA is preferred. 2+ years of experience in accounting roles. Proficiency in NetSuite ERP software is preferred. Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting practices. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
