$120,000.00 - $160,000.00 anually Our client, a closely knit private organization, is currently seeking a hands on CFO to join their team. What We Like About This CFO Role Highly Balanced! Work life balance – for the most part this is a 40hour work week! Not much OT at all!! Company-paid base health for employee Direct succession to a retiring CFO after 28year tenure—high-impact, influential executive seat Over 100 years in existence, community anchored company with deep roots in CT. They have over 5 locations in CT and a few out of state locations! Visibility to entire business line, producer analysis lead, and seat at the executive table with the owner. What You Will Be Tasked With As a CFO This is a hands-on CFO role managing the accounting, human resources and IT functions. Involved with all areas. Review and mentor staff Monthly financials, Reports, Maximize profitability Track of 1099s for year end reporting to the CPA Step in to help with AP, AR, Payroll as needed. Monitor and update ACH payments Personal Financials for Owner to banks HR responsibilities : Open enrollment for 7/1 annually: Group Medical, Flexible Spending accounts, Dental, Vision, benefits changes, FMLA, termination letters. Audit payroll before release to be sure there a no missing pieces Additional duties as required/assigned. Preferred Experience For The CFO Role Bachelor's in Accounting required Full GL ownership; monthly close and financial statement prep Executive maturity and resilience; able to work directly with owner and navigate high-trust/visibility environment Advanced Excel (analysis, automation potential, pivot tables); systems savvy and process improvement mindset #J-18808-Ljbffr
