Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Specialty Charlotte, North Carolina. This position involves providing critical respiratory care to adult patients and neonates in a busy healthcare environment. The role requires active participation in patient care, utilizing advanced respiratory therapy equipment and protocols. The selected candidate will work nights, with a focus on teamwork and adherence to departmental values.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid North Carolina licensure; National Certification as Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT); BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications; 2 years of related experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult care and neonatal intensive care units (NICU); proficiency with critical care and all floor therapies; familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system and department-specific equipment, including servo ventilators, Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, and bubble CPAP.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to all facilities within the region, including Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, and any Freestanding Emergency Departments within Region 2, as needed, within scope of practice. Float pays and arrangements are in accordance with regional policies.
• Orientation: Two days of departmental orientation at the facility and unit level.
