Patient Services Specialist *Nights* ER

Description Ensures that all demographic and insurance information is registered in an accurate and timely manner. Prepares and coordinates the distribution of patient information to nursing units and ancillary departments. Ensures patients are pre-registered prior to their service date in an accurate and timely manner. Monitors scheduling programs for patient appointments. Collects patient co-payments. Works side by side with the clinical team in the emergency room setting. Required Qualifications Clerical and in person professional customer service experience, preference being in a health care setting. Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
