Requisition Number: AS1004P Job Title: Athletic Department Student Aide Pay Rate: $16.39 hourly Position Type: Part-time Variable Schedule * This position is only available to FCC Students* Position Summary This position assists with the strategic operations within all areas of the Athletic Department. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community or ability to use varying styles and approaches that reflect an understanding and acceptance of the role of culture in a diverse, multicultural workplace. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist Facilities & Equipment Supervisor to ensure a safe and clean workout environment through constant circulation of the Athletics Center facilities. Assist with overseeing use of the Weight Room and Gymnasium. Assist in identifying participant exercise risk and concern. Clean and sanitize Weight Room equipment. Provide appropriate set-up of gymnasium equipment to include volleyball and basketball. Assist with game day duties. Other duties as assigned. Required Minimum Qualifications High school diploma/GED Current FCC student Excellent verbal communication skills Ability to lift, move, carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and ascend and descend stairs Ability to communicate effectively and interact with people across cultures, ranges of ability, genders, ethnicities, and races Desired Qualifications One year of experience working in an athletics environment Work Schedule Varies Full/Part Time Part Time Telework Eligible?
