Position Overview
GoWork Staffing is hiring a dependable Machine Operator in Irwin, PA. This is a 1st-shift,
temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with manufacturing or machine operating experience
who is looking for a stable, long-term position.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate production machinery according to work instructions
Load and unload materials and parts into machines
Monitor machines throughout the production process
Make basic machine adjustments as needed
Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and defects
Use basic measuring tools to verify product specifications
Complete required production documentation
Report equipment issues, defects, or production concerns to the appropriate supervisor
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all established safety, quality, and production procedures
Work collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance team members
Qualifications
Previous machine operating, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
Comfortable working around industrial machinery and equipment
Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
Basic mechanical aptitude
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to perform repetitive production tasks in a manufacturing environment
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to workplace safety
Position Details
Pay: 18. 00–20.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Status: Temp-to-Hire
