Senior Accountant

A growing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and support accurate financial reporting. This role focuses on close activities, reconciliations, and improving financial processes within a project-based environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain general ledger activity and review journal entries and subledger postings Lead month‑end close, including balance sheet reconciliations Track expenses and ensure proper coding and accuracy Support payroll processing and perform periodic payroll reconciliations Assist with project financial tracking, including cost analysis and billing review Prepare financial data for reporting, budgeting, and audits Monitor fixed assets and maintain supporting records Identify and improve accounting processes and workflows Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Experience with general ledger and project-based accounting Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Deltek experience preferred) Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills What’s Offered Competitive pay and bonus opportunities Comprehensive health benefits with full employee coverage 401(k) with company contribution Company‑paid disability and life insurance Paid time off, holidays, and professional development support #J-18808-Ljbffr
