Post Doctoral Associate

Postdoctoral Associate – Pharmacy Practice & Administration Rutgers University, Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy – Health Outcomes, Policy & Economics (HOPE). The position is grant‑funded, full‑time and intended for a two‑year period subject to funding and performance. Responsibilities Spend four days per week at Novo Nordisk in Plainsboro, NJ, working with the Clinical Development Outcomes Research (CDOR) team to design and conduct real‑world evidence studies related to diabetes and obesity. Spend one day per week at Rutgers University’s HOPE program in Piscataway, NJ, to engage in academic research, teaching, and publishing. Collaborate closely with the HEOR portfolio lead, developing study protocols, managing study execution, analyzing large and small datasets, and producing scientific manuscripts and value‑assessment reports. Participate in IRB processes, research contracting, and study management activities. Qualifications PharmD degree or equivalent. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience or introductory training in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), including coursework in economics, statistics, public health, or analytics. Preferred Qualifications Experience with large‑scale real‑world data analysis. Familiarity with study management tools and electronic data capture systems. Knowledge of NIH or federal grant reporting requirements. Compensation Annual salary of $86,671, negotiated based on qualifications and internal equity.
