Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $70,000 to $80,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
• Monitor receivable balances and support timely collection activities through regular follow up.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations for payables, receivables, and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain the general ledger by assisting with journal entries and ensuring compliance with accounting policies.
• Support month end and year end close by providing documentation, assisting with audits, and maintaining fixed asset records.

• A Bachelor degree's in accounting or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in an accounting role within a corporate environment.
• Previous knowledge of accounting standards and general ledger processes.
• Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with accounting systems such as QuickBooks or similar tools.
• Ability to manage deadlines, work under pressure, and support multiple accounting functions.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate financial data.
• Effective communication skills when working with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
• Organized and dependable work style with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Previous experience supporting audits, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities.
• Familiarity with manufacturing, inventory, or cost related accounting.
