Accountant Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $28.00 to $30.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Maintain and analyze accounting records and account activity
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Review financial information for accuracy and compliance
- Assist with accounting operations and process improvements
- Coordinate accounting activities with other departments
- Research and resolve accounting issues as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Provide support and guidance to team members as needed
Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience managing the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Proven experience preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with leadership, vendors, auditors, and business partners.
