Registered Nurse, Med Surg Glendale, CA | start 10/05/2026 | 8 weeks | $2,200–$2,359 per week | guaranteed hours 48 | 3x12-hour day shifts | Hospital (acute care) Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,200–$2,359 per week Guaranteed hours: 48 per week Contract duration: 8 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) Start date: 10/05/2026 Acute care hospital setting; Med/Surg specialty EPIC and Cerner experience preferred Responsibilities Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent action Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation; analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues Develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care, delegating and coordinating duties to ensure safe, effective care and timely discharge planning Provide education to patients, families, and team members; communicate health information clearly to treatment teams Collaborate with the patient, family, and healthcare providers to promote a safe, healing environment and continuity of care Requirements Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license active in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification required; facility-specific BLS (HS-BLS or RQI BLS) may be required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field; acute care/Med/Surg experience preferred Skills: Proficiency with nursing processes, data collection, and care coordination; ability to work in a hospital setting; EPIC and Cerner experience is preferred Additional: Must be able to work a travel assignment and meet facility vaccination requirements Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours and a defined contract duration Travel assignment coordination and ongoing clinical support EPIC and Cerner experience recommended to support backfill and charting efficiency Access to credentialing and start-date coordination to facilitate the assignment PAY DISCLAIMER RULE: Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
