Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This long-term contract position for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), starting August 17th, 2026 and ending June 12th, 2027, will allow you to make a significant impact across several school locations. The schedule offers a consistent 35-hour work week, with seven-hour days to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Virginia SLP license (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
• Experience or a passion for working within school settings
• Strength in assessment, IEP development, and collaborative service delivery
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Commitment to onsite services; remote or hybrid options are not available

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to a varied caseload of students, helping them achieve communication goals
• Conduct assessments and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support teams to monitor and document student progress
• Provide engaging, evidence-based interventions in both individual and small-group settings
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
