Customs Director
Are you an experienced Customs Director ready to lead a dynamic team in global trade management? We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a prominent 3PL company based in Los Angeles, seeking a Customs Director to oversee customs entry writers, manage customer relationships, and ensure compliance with global trade regulations. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of customs entry writers, ensuring accurate and timely customs entries.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, providing exceptional service and support.
- Stay updated on global trade regulations and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
- Optimize customs processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and minimize delays.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in customs management within the logistics or 3PL industry.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
- Expertise in customs regulations, import/export compliance, and global trade updates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement.
- Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
