ServerA Server is a highly-motivated, outgoing team player with the knowledge to guide guests through an exceptional dining experience and produce outstanding sales.Benefits:50% off meal on duty and 20% off duty5 vacation days (after 1 year of employment with 30 hrs or more a week)Responsibilities:Greets and seats guestsAnswers phone calls and takes togo orders (in absence of a host or to-go coordinator)Communicates specials, features, and promotionsSells add-ons and premium beverage/food itemsTakes timely and correct orders and delivers mealsHandles cash and tips accuratelyPerforms company's 10 Steps of Service and maintains a lively atmosphere (lights/music/tv)Maintains a clean dining room and restrooms during service (in absence of a busser)Performs daily opening and closing dutiesAssumes bartending responsibilities in absence of mixologistCommunicates restaurant operational needs to managersMaintains a helpful, productive working relationship with the DMOParticipates in and maintains positive relationships across FOH and BOH teamsParticipates in ongoing restaurant training and scheduled restaurant eventsQualifications:Months to a year working in a FOH position in a full service restaurantHas an interest in beer, wine and cocktail knowledgeIs willing to lift and carry up to 20 lbsHas physical stamina for minimum 6 hour shiftAbility to handle multiple tasksAbility to train individualsLearner/CoachableRequirements:Reliable TransportationBackground CheckFlexibility of Schedule21 yrs of age preferredTIPS certification (at completion of training)
