Role Description

The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Napoleon, OH, responsible for managing customer accounts and supporting day-to-day agency operations. This position includes assisting customers with insurance quotes, policy changes, and coverage reviews, as well as responding to inquiries via phone, text, email, and in person. The Account Manager will proactively follow up with existing and prospective customers, identify coverage needs, and recommend appropriate State Farm products and services. Daily tasks also involve maintaining accurate records, processing applications and documentation, and collaborating with the agent and team to meet sales and service goals. The role may include participating in local outreach and community events to strengthen customer relationships and agency visibility.

Qualifications

• Customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to listen actively and communicate clearly with diverse customers.
• Sales, cross-selling, and consultative skills to identify customer needs and present suitable insurance and financial service solutions.
• Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple accounts, follow up consistently, and maintain detailed records.
• Proficiency with office software, CRM or agency management systems, and comfort working with digital communication tools.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and a high level of personal integrity.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Napoleon, OH, collaborate within a small team, and engage with the local community when needed.
• Prior experience in insurance, financial services, banking, or a customer-facing role is preferred but not required.
• State insurance licenses (Property & Casualty, Life & Health) or willingness and ability to obtain them within a defined timeframe.
