SVP, Asset-Based Lending Relationship Manager & Team Leader Only candidates with Asset Based Lending Experience Position Overview Knight & Associates is conducting a search on behalf of our client for a senior Asset-Based Lending professional to help lead and expand an established, growing ABL platform. This position combines business development, portfolio management and team leadership, with the opportunity to influence credit practices, product strategy and operating infrastructure. Our client offers an entrepreneurial culture, direct access to senior leadership and capital available to support continued growth. Substantial, direct Asset-Based Lending experience is required. Only candidates with this experience will be considered. Key Responsibilities Originate new ABL relationships through an established referral network, initially focused on the Bay Area and expanding across the Western United States. Manage key borrower relationships and oversee transaction structure, credit quality and portfolio performance. Lead and develop relationship managers and credit staff. Partner with senior leadership to strengthen ABL policies, processes and infrastructure. Support portfolio diversification into traditional industries, providing receivables and inventory financing in the sub-$20 million transaction market. Balance business development with portfolio oversight and leadership; the anticipated mix by the end of year one is approximately 40% business development and 60% portfolio management and leadership. Required Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of commercial banking experience, including substantial direct ABL experience and prior management responsibility. Demonstrated ability to originate ABL transactions and develop productive referral relationships. Strong ABL credit, underwriting, transaction structuring and portfolio management skills. Experience with accounts receivable and inventory collateral, borrowing-base monitoring and seasonal financing needs. Ability to develop staff and work collaboratively with senior leadership to build a growing business. The Opportunity Help shape the continued growth of an established $200 million-plus ABL platform.
