Tyler Technologies is looking to hire a Revenue Accounting Intern to join our corporate finance team in our Plano, TX office. As a Revenue Accounting Intern, you will experience the day-to-day operations of a successful Finance team. If you have a passion for numbers and data with excellent communication skills, this a great internship for you! The ideal candidate will be skilled in Microsoft Excel and have previous experience using accounting or billing software. Responsibilities Input software projects and contracts into Tyler’s accounting and billing systems. Post and prepare invoices to be sent to clients each month and/or annually. Account review and reconciliation of payments and invoicing. Process billings and generate client invoices, troubleshooting and resolving billing issues that may arise. Set up and monitor budgets and billing schedules. Process and record credits on assigned client accounts while adhering to department policy and internal controls. Meet or exceed productivity standards in the completion of daily and monthly assignments and accurate production. Maintain positive, productive relationships with all internal resources as well as with customers. Qualifications Currently pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or equivalent degree program. Understanding of accounting principles is helpful. Keen attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Experience downloading reports and manipulating data from various applications, especially Excel. Required to undergo and satisfactorily pass a fingerprint background check in accordance with CJIS requirements. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
