Bookkeeper (Temporary)

Bookkeeper Position

Our client is currently seeking a bookkeeper to join their team. All applicants must have knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping and QuickBooks. Responsibilities include:

• Complete tax forms
• Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements
• Accounts payable – Review and improve purchasing processes and costs
• Accounts receivable - Review incoming payments within the system
• Maintain general ledger (chart of accounts) and all account reconciliations (including monthly bank reconciliations) across multiple entities
• Responsible for cash management of the entities
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting as required by management
• Ability to create custom financial reports as needed
• Review of financial data to ensure accuracy
• Coordinate quarterly and as needed with accountants for yearend taxes and financial
• Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payroll reporting
• Coordinate, prepare and facilitate bank deposits
• Prepare weekly check runs

Qualifications:

• Associates/bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience required
• Experience with QuickBooks required
• Experience with Appfolio preferred (but not required)
• Excellent communication skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office, including Excel
• Ability to adapt to changing job requirements
• High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy
