Project Overview

HireScale is partnering with a high-growth organization to accelerate the design, development, and scaling of AI-enabled products across core SaaS, healthcare, and fintech domains. This is a full-service AI Product Consultant engagement (6–18 months) focused on turning complex business and user needs into shipped, measurable product outcomes powered by modern AI capabilities.

This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, Agile delivery, and applied AI system design . You will lead and operate within cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver AI-driven product experiences that improve operational efficiency, user outcomes, and business performance.

The work is not theoretical or roadmap-only. It is deeply executional—focused on shipping production-ready AI features, workflows, and product capabilities that integrate directly into SaaS platforms used in healthcare, fintech, and adjacent regulated industries.

You will be expected to operate fluently in Agile and Scrum environments , translating ambiguous product opportunities into structured backlogs, sprint plans, and iterative releases. A strong emphasis is placed on balancing speed with product rigor—ensuring AI features are not only innovative, but reliable, usable, and aligned with compliance and industry requirements where applicable.

This engagement requires deep familiarity with AI product development , including LLM-powered features, intelligent automation, and data-driven decision systems. You will work closely with engineering, design, data, and business stakeholders to ensure AI capabilities are embedded meaningfully into the product experience—not bolted on.

Core functional exposure should include SaaS platforms, healthcare systems, fintech products, and AI-native applications , with an understanding of the constraints and opportunities within each domain.

The ultimate goal is to define and deliver AI-powered product experiences that are scalable, user-centric, and directly tied to measurable business outcomes.

Scope of Work & Core Capabilities

• Lead end-to-end AI product development from discovery through delivery and iteration
• Define product strategy, vision, and roadmap for AI-enabled SaaS features and workflows
• Translate business and user problems into structured product requirements and Agile backlogs
• Operate within Scrum frameworks, including sprint planning, refinement, standups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of AI features
• Design AI-powered product experiences including automation, prediction, and intelligent decisioning systems
• Work with LLMs and AI technologies to define product capabilities (e.g., GPT-based features, agentic workflows, recommendation systems)
• Prioritize features based on business impact, feasibility, and user value in fast-moving environments
• Ensure compliance and risk considerations are embedded into product design (especially in healthcare and fintech contexts)
• Partner with UX/UI designers to shape intuitive, AI-native user experiences
• Analyze product performance and user behavior to inform iteration and optimization cycles
• Facilitate alignment across stakeholders including engineering, data, compliance, and business leadership
• Maintain clear documentation of product requirements, workflows, and acceptance criteria
• Drive continuous improvement in product delivery velocity and quality

Engagement Brief

This engagement is focused on delivering scalable, AI-powered product capabilities that drive measurable impact across SaaS, healthcare, and fintech environments. Success is defined by shipped product outcomes, adoption of AI features, and improved business performance through intelligent system design and execution.

Establish clear Agile delivery systems, scalable AI product architecture, and strong alignment between business goals and technical execution.
• Duration: 6–18 months (full-service engagement)

Portfolio Requirements:

• 3+ relevant AI product or SaaS product leadership projects
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership (problem → product strategy → Agile delivery → shipped outcomes)
• Experience working in SaaS, healthcare, fintech, or regulated product environments
• Strong track record using Agile and Scrum methodologies in real product delivery
• Evidence of AI product work (LLM features, automation systems, intelligent workflows, or data-driven product design)
• Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, design, and business teams in fast-paced environments
• Supporting materials such as product roadmaps, PRDs, case studies, sprint artifacts, or shipped product examples preferred
