Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo position in Hilo, Hawaii. This role involves performing adult echocardiography including advanced imaging techniques such as 2D-Mode, Doppler, valvular disease studies, and 3D TEE procedures. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in an acute hospital setting and hold RDCS certification along with active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Candidates must be available to start on 09/14/2026 and arrive the Thursday prior to the start date for employee health appointments.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Twelve-hour rotating shifts, 36 minimum hours per week, with on-call responsibilities and potential floating to other departments.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in RDCS or CCI, active AHA BLS, minimum of 3 years experience in an acute hospital setting, proficiency in adult echocardiography including 2D-Mode, Doppler CW and PW, valvular disease studies, color flow mapping, cardiomyopathies, congenital heart disease, pericardial disease, effusions, 2D & 3D TEEs, and hypertensive heart disease studies. EMR system utilized is Epic, from November 1, 2025.
• Additional Information: Personal scrubs or professional healthcare attire are required. Candidates must be able to arrive the Thursday before the scheduled start date to complete employee health screening. Floating to other departments may be required.
