Senior Payroll Coordinator / Payroll SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Coordinator / Payroll Specialist for an established company in West Tulsa. This is a great opportunity for a payroll professional who is comfortable independently processing payroll, handling multi-state requirements, and working with payroll accounting and reconciliations. This position is expected to be temp-to-hire, with the possibility of direct hire for a highly qualified candidate.Responsibilities:Process and review weekly and biweekly payrollsReview employee time, earnings, deductions, taxes, bonuses, commissions, new hires, and terminationsProcess and maintain wage garnishmentsReconcile payroll registers, deductions, bank activity, and general ledger accountsPrepare payroll journal entries, accruals, and clearing account reconciliationsResearch and resolve payroll discrepanciesAssist with 401(k), PTO, commission, and benefit deduction reconciliationsSupport month-end close, payroll audits, and year-end processingRespond to employee payroll questions and maintain confidential payroll recordsAssist with payroll reporting, system testing, and process improvementsRequirements:3–5+ years of payroll experienceExperience independently processing payroll for 150+ employeesMulti-state payroll experienceExperience processing wage garnishmentsKnowledge of payroll accounting, journal entries, GL reconciliations, accruals, and clearing accountsStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, filters, and reconciliationsExperience working within ERP/payroll systemsStrong attention to detail and ability to meet payroll deadlinesPreferred:Workday Payroll and/or Time Tracking experienceCanadian payroll experienceADP wage garnishment or payroll tax service experienceD365, AX, or Great Plains experienceFPC or CPP certificationPay: $29–$33/hr DOE Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Location: West Tulsa, OK
