Business Strategist Senior Manager A senior manager in Salesforce’s Experience Services Competency, responsible for ensuring delivery excellence and quality across Salesforce Professional Services customers. The role partners with C‑level customers, emboldens strategic advisory, and translates customer ambitions into actionable, multi‑year programs. Key Responsibilities Strategic Advisory: Provide business strategy subject matter expertise during sales and delivery cycles; position and sell large‑enterprise consulting engagements; uncover future sales opportunities. Strategic Discovery & Assessment: Conduct assessments, facilitate workshops on operating models and business visions; identify efficiencies and improvements; leverage AI tools in deliverables. Strategy Roadmap & Value Modeling: Develop multi‑year roadmaps that prioritize investments and support objectives; create use cases to project value and organizational impact. Transformation & Organizational Adoption: Drive stakeholder alignment, facilitate cross‑functional partnerships, help leaders adopt new digital models, governance strategies, and ways of working. Operational Excellence: Collaborate with program management to integrate strategies into delivery; identify and manage risk areas. Team Leadership: Lead team members on customer engagements, drive results, serve as escalation point; positively impact renewals and extensions when applicable. Business & Practice Impact: Support growth of the Business Strategy capability, share standard methodologies, lead internal initiatives, contribute to the community’s knowledge base. Experience & Skills Required Minimum 8 years of industry experience in customer‑facing roles leading complex, experience‑led engagements with large‑scale transformation. Track record of delivering exceptional experiences from start to finish. Business Development: Go‑to‑market support, scoping, proposal development, RFP responses, executive presentations, and objection handling. Core Competencies: Business Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Product Management, Agile, Program Governance, Experience Design, Change Management, Value Realization, AI tools in service delivery. Product Knowledge: Salesforce product knowledge and solution design relevant to Public Sector organizations. Sector Expertise: Proven experience with Public Sector customers (Federal Civilian, Defense, State & Local Government, Nonprofit, or Education) and understanding of key business value drivers. Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, workshop design and facilitation, ability to articulate business value to stakeholders at all levels. Problem Solving: Analytical, synthesizes information, creative approaches in ambiguous situations. Relationship Management: Build and maintain customer relationships, work cross‑functionally with Sales, Engagement Leaders, Solution & Technical Architects, Human‑Centered Change Practitioners, Experience Designers, and External Partners. Education: BA/BS or MA/MS in a related field, or equivalent experience. Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25‑30% of the time. Citizenship: Candidates must be a United States citizen. Preferred Qualifications: Prosci® Change Management Certification, Salesforce Administrator Certification, Salesforce Strategy Designer Certification, Salesforce Agentblazer Innovator or Agentblazer Legend Credential. Additional details are available at Compensation The base salary range for this position is $172,500–$260,100 annually, with a higher range of $207,800–$285,800 for selected locations (California, NewYork, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, WashingtonDC).
