Senior Tax Director, Compensation & Benefits

Senior Tax Director position reporting to VP Tax, responsible for providing technical tax and legal guidance on employee compensation and benefit plans globally. Role involves ensuring regulatory compliance and advising management on qualified retirement plans, executive compensation, equity arrangements, and benefits matters.

Responsibilities

Provide technical tax and legal counsel on design and administration of compensation and benefit plans
Advise on U.S. federal tax requirements for retirement plans, executive compensation, and equity-based programs
Guide business leaders on ERISA, IRC, and fiduciary compliance requirements
Support M&A transactions with tax and benefits advice, due diligence, and integration planning
Monitor regulatory and legislative developments; translate requirements into practical guidance for management

Requirements

Juris Doctor from accredited law school; active bar admission required
Minimum 10 years experience advising on compensation and benefits tax matters
Working knowledge of Internal Revenue Code and ERISA provisions
Experience advising on compensation matters in M&A and divestiture transactions
Strong business partnering and communication skills for technical content
Knowledge of international employee compensation and benefits laws preferred
