divh2Senior Specialist, Multi-Asset Indices Product Management/h2pThe Multi-Asset Indices Product Management team at SP Dow Jones Indices (SP DJI) is seeking a Senior Specialist to support its initiatives in both the US and globally. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as a product manager, providing SP DJIs clients with indexing solutions in growing areas of the insurance, options overlay, and multi-asset investment universes. This multi-faceted role includes serving as the owner of the product development and maintenance process as well as the financial health of the product line./ppThe Senior Specialist will play an integral role within the Multi-Asset Indices Product Management team. The role includes the following key responsibilities:/pulliHelp define and execute the product development strategy, considering broad market trends and client needs./liliSupport the suite of Multi-Asset Indices and products via analysis and content creation for thought leadership materials (pitch decks, blogs, white papers, videos, and other media)./liliWork closely with the Research and Design team on index design./liliHelp oversee the index launch process: plan the overall project, coordinate across internal teams, and manage timelines with internal and external stakeholders./liliCollaborate with product management team members and support global initiatives./li/ulpQualifications/pulliUndergraduate degree required. Masters degree in a relevant field or progress towards a CFA charter a plus./lili2-5 years of relevant work experience./liliSelf-driven with strong motivation to research and innovate on new ideas./liliStrong analytical and quantitative skills are essential, comfortable working with large data sets./liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidate would eventually have to deliver high quality presentations both internally and externally to clients. In addition, they would be responsible for creating other content./liliThe position requires interacting with sophisticated clients. The ability to learn and ask questions is paramount./liliProgramming skills (Python, R, SQL, VBA, others) are desirable./liliKnowledge of financial packages such as FactSet, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Barra, Axioma, etc. is desirable./liliDemonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Candidate can effectively influence others and gain their consensus when needed./liliDemonstrated ability to handle steep learning curves. Candidate should be very comfortable dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty./liliThe position requires the ability to deal with a high level of technical complexity and the ability to explain that complexity to audiences with a wide spectrum of sophistication. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individuals geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
