Job Description

The Moll Operator is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of Moll machines to produce
high-quality printed materials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Set up, calibrate, and operate Moll finishing equipment, such as folder-gluers and other post-press
machines.
• Monitor the production process to ensure printed materials meet quality standards and client
requirements.
• Read and fulfill job tickets.
Monitor machine operation to detect any issues or malfunctions and make adjustments as needed to
maintain quality standards.
• Label loads.
• Fulfill paperwork requirements.
• Align daily workload with production schedule.
• Collaborate with production team to ensure timely completion of orders and meet production needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on Moll machines to ensure optimal performance and
minimize downtime.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years' operating Moll or similar equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Familiarity and/or previous experience with other bindery equipment.

RECOMMENDED / PREFERRED:
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality control procedures.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Monarch ERP software or similar enterprise resource
planning systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and job tickets.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise machine operation.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials or equipment, up to 50 pounds.
