Role Description The NC LCMHC/LCSW for virtual practice will provide individual and, when appropriate, family or group psychotherapy via secure telehealth platforms. This is a remote, contract role that includes conducting intake assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-informed interventions for clients experiencing mental health and behavioral health concerns. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation, coordinating care with other providers when needed, and adhering to relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards. The clinician will also engage in case consultation, support appropriate referrals and resources, and participate in periodic virtual team meetings to ensure consistent, high-quality client care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Social Work practice, including client advocacy and resource linkage.
• Experience or training in Medical Social Work, particularly in coordinating care across medical and behavioral health settings.
• Proficiency in Case Management, including assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up to support client progress.
• Strong clinical skills in Mental Health assessment and intervention with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of Behavioral Health principles, including managing co-occurring conditions and promoting resilience.
• Active NC LCMHC or LCSW license in good standing; eligibility to practice independently in North Carolina.
• Comfort and competence with telehealth platforms, electronic health records, and remote client engagement.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
• Commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care.
• Prior outpatient or community mental health experience is preferred.
