About the Position

We are looking for a reliable, personable, and hands-on  Bilingual Mandarin/English HR & Production Coordinator to work onsite at our assembly operation.

This is a hands-on position that combines basic HR and recruiting responsibilities with day-to-day employee communication and occasional production support.

The ideal candidate is fluent in  Mandarin and English , is comfortable working directly with employees, and is willing to spend time on the production floor when needed.

You will serve as an important communication link between our employees and management. Employees may come to you with questions or concerns, and you will help communicate those matters to management and make sure questions are addressed appropriately.

Responsibilities

Recruiting & Hiring

• Create and post job advertisements on online job boards
• Review applications and resumes
• Communicate with applicants and schedule interviews
• Conduct initial interviews in Mandarin and/or English
• Coordinate the hiring and onboarding process
• Assist with new-hire paperwork and orientation

Employee Communication

• Serve as an onsite point of contact for routine employee questions
• Communicate employee questions, concerns, and requests to management
• Help explain company policies and procedures to employees
• Assist with communication between Mandarin-speaking employees and management
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling employee matters

HR & Administrative Support

• Maintain employee records and HR documentation
• Assist with attendance and personnel documentation
• Assist management with routine HR administrative tasks
• Help coordinate employee meetings and training
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information
• Escalate sensitive or significant employee issues to management

Production Support

This is a hands-on position. When needed, you will assist on the production/assembly floor.

• Help with basic assembly and production tasks when necessary
• Assist production employees during busy periods
• Learn and follow production procedures and safety requirements
• Be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

You will not be expected to make major HR or employee-relations decisions independently. Management will provide direction and make final decisions regarding hiring, discipline, compensation, and other significant employment matters.

Qualifications

Required:

• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Comfortable communicating with employees at all levels
• Reliable and professional
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/assembly environment
• Basic computer skills
• Able to work onsite full-time
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to maintain confidentiality

Preferred:

• 1–3+ years of HR, recruiting, administrative, warehouse, manufacturing, or operations experience
• Experience interviewing and hiring employees
• Experience with job posting websites such as Indeed or LinkedIn
• Experience working with hourly employees
• Manufacturing, warehouse, electronics, or assembly experience
• Familiarity with basic HR procedures and California employment requirements

A college degree is  not required if you have strong relevant experience.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is  hands-on, dependable, and good with people .

This is not a traditional desk-only HR position. You will interact with employees throughout the day, assist with recruiting and HR administration, communicate with management, and occasionally work alongside the production team.

The right person will be comfortable wearing multiple hats and helping wherever needed.

Mandarin and English fluency is required.
