Patient Experience Representative

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Experience Representative to provide exceptional administrative support, ensuring the best possible patient experience by effectively coordinating services for patients and families. This role involves supporting departmental and organizational initiatives with a focus on continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive and effective customer service that supports unit operations.
• Collaborate with referring providers and practices.
• Obtain required authorizations to compile patient and staff schedules.
• Schedule patients and support patient encounters.
• Record and forward messages, triage calls for urgent information or services, and initiate calls for emergency services.
• Process admissions and discharges.
• Provide routine clerical support as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• A high school level of education is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Prior customer service or administrative experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
• Ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.

Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite with two openings available. The first shift is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The role requires working in a dynamic and supportive hospital environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boston, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
