Accounting Manager

A well-established manufacturer in the automotive industry is seeking an Accounting Manager in the Charlotte, North Carolina Metro Area. Responsibilities: Lead monthly close, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting. Prepare financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and operational analyses for plant and corporate leadership. Manage standard costing, material costs, product costing, and capital expenditure reporting. Oversee accounts payable/receivable support, journal entries, tax filings, and financial compliance. Coordinate annual inventory, financial records, tooling amortization, and asset tracking. Partner with cross-functional teams on new product costing, billing inquiries, and continuous process improvements. Candidates Must Have: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required. 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and month-end/year-end close. Experience preparing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and journal entries. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
