Generous paid time off (PTO) and 8 company holidays.What You'll Do:Operate forklift in compliance with forklift training and safety guidelines.Load/unload/store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing damage.Store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk)Prepare the paperwork required for distribution and shipping of products.Performs daily inspection and maintenance of equipment.Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in working and assigned area.Assists in periodic inventory counts as requested.What We're Looking For:One year or recent forklift/warehouse experience.Ability to proficiently and safely use forklift to transport products, load/unload trucks.Ability to understand and follow directions.Ability to work independently at times under pressure.Ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting up to 75 lbs.Ability to read/comprehend sales orders, purchase orders, safety material, etc.Safe work record and stable work history.Our Values: With every decision and action, we put people first, keep the future in mind, and work as a team toward shared progress: Customer Centric, Respect, Collaboration, Integrity, Grit.About Us: BlueLinx (NYSE: BXC) is one of America's largest distributors of building products, with over 70,000 branded and private-label SKUs.
