Helicopter Avionics Technician (Part 145 Repair Station)Negotiable Pay Rate Based On Hands on Aircraft Avionics Experience.Job DescriptionAs an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing basic avionics and electrical systems. You will assist with more complex installation tasks and disassemble and reassemble aircraft interiors as needed to facilitate avionics installations or repairs. Additionally, you will complete light sheet metal fabrications, wiring harness fabrications, and installations, antenna and coax installations, as well as OHM and power checks. Responsibilities Fabricate and install basic avionics and electrical systems. Assist with complex installation tasks. Disassemble and reassemble aircraft interiors for avionics installation or repairs. Complete light sheet metal fabrications. Assist with wiring harness maps or mock-ups. Complete wiring harness fabrication and installation. Perform antenna and coax installations. Conduct OHM, power, and ground checks. Terminate wires as necessary. Experience with avionics systems and troubleshooting. Proficiency in avionics installation for helicopters. Light sheet metal fabrication. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams. Knowledge of electrical components and soldering techniques. Additional Skills Qualifications At least 2 years of experience with avionics. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a large hangar environment with a team of 45 employees. The role involves working on Bell helicopters and Airbus aircraft, ensuring a dynamic and varied work experience. Job Type Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.00/hr.
