Duration: 6 Months (contract with high potential for extension)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to support patient scheduling, registration, front desk operations, and administrative tasks in a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service while assisting patients, managing appointments, verifying insurance, and maintaining accurate records.
• This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced ambulatory care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, visitors, and callers professionally
• Schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule appointments
• Perform patient registration and update demographic information
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations
• Collect copays and maintain payment records
• Prepare and maintain patient charts and documentation
• Handle incoming calls, messages, mail, and office correspondence
• Perform clerical duties including scanning, filing, faxing, and photocopying
• Support office operations and maintain inventory/equipment
• Assist patients with telehealth and appointment coordination

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in healthcare reception, front desk, or administrative support
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience with scheduling and patient registration
• Basic knowledge of insurance verification and copay collection
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
