Make a meaningful difference for a high school student in need of dedicated nursing support. A Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is sought for an on-site contract role to work closely with a student at a high school in the Spring, TX area for the remainder of the 2026–27 school year.

In this position, you’ll provide essential care and monitoring for a stable student who requires tracheostomy management. The day begins by meeting the student at 6:45 AM, accompanying them by bus to school, supporting them in classes, and concluding your day at 3:30 PM. This one-on-one assignment ensures you can make a direct, positive impact throughout the student’s school day, with a 30-minute lunch break to recharge.

Qualifications:

• Active and current LVN license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing
• Experience in tracheostomy care preferred
• Previous experience working with school-aged children or within a school setting
• Dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented approach to caregiving
• Ability to pass a district fingerprint background check and drug screening promptly

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care and monitoring for a student with a trach throughout the school day
• Ride with the student on the bus to and from school
• Collaborate with educators and school staff to ensure the student’s safety and comfort
• Document daily care activities according to school and nursing standards
• Respond quickly and effectively to any changes in the student’s health status
