We currently have an opening for a Legal Administrative Assistant in our Denver office. We are seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys in our busy litigation and transactional practice groups. The hours for this position are from Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on a hybrid schedule. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide high-level administrative support to attorneys and legal teams in corporate and transactional practices
- Prepare, revise, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, agreements, closing binders, and signature packets
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including organizing and maintaining case files, evidence, and exhibits
- Coordinate document execution through DocuSign and manage closing logistics
- Assist with entity formations, corporate filings, UCC filings, and maintenance of corporate records
- Manage attorney calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and expense reimbursements
- Open new matters, process conflict checks, and assist with client onboarding
- Prepare and submit time entries, billing edits, and expense reports
- Organize and maintain electronic files within document management systems, including updating case files
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, witnesses, experts, and internal departments
- Prepare and ensure timely filing of legal documents with the court
- Monitor and track deadlines to ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or business environment, preferred
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook proficiency
- Possess excellent proofing and editing skills
- Strong attention to detail
