Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers the advantage of remote work, allowing you to engage with students and staff in a flexible environment. Our typical work hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends required to ensure comprehensive mental health support. Your role may occasionally involve responding to on-call mental health emergencies, demonstrating our commitment to providing timely support to students in crisis.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate each student’s unique needs, including their personal history, presenting issues, and any relevant risk factors that may affect their school experience.

• Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans with students, focusing on fostering emotional resilience, navigating mental health challenges, and facilitating their successful integration into the school environment.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy, effectively addressing a wide range of mental health issues.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions designed to enhance personal growth, emotional regulation, and the development of healthy coping strategies among students.

• Engage in collaboration with fellow mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners, to ensure holistic, coordinated care for students.

• Provide crisis intervention during emergencies, applying de-escalation techniques and making appropriate referrals for higher care when necessary.

• Offer psychoeducation and resources to students and their families, empowering them with knowledge regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and available supports.

• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, consistent with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to foster collaboration and share insights that enhance the overall care network.

• Stay abreast of relevant laws and ethical standards associated with mental health practice within educational settings to provide the highest level of care.

In this role, you will be primarily focused on the mental health needs of school-aged children and adolescents. Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
