About the Role
The Company is in search of an Interim Vice President of Revenue Cycle to lead strategic initiatives, optimize end-to-end revenue cycle operations, and support clients through critical transition periods. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting revenue cycle management leaders and staff, enhancing communication and collaboration with clinical office managers and staff, and providing hands-on, on-site engagement across the organization. This role requires the evaluation, tracking, and guidance of clinical and administrative teams in optimizing both revenue cycle and clinical operations, as well as leading workflow design, process improvement, and execution across all RCM functions. The Interim VP will also be tasked with identifying operational gaps, defining solution requirements, and assisting in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with a preference for those who have held a VP or Director position in a hospital or health system. Deep knowledge of major EHR systems is essential, and prior experience in interim or consulting roles is highly valued. The role demands strong analytical, communication, and change management skills, as well as the ability to serve as a compliance officer for revenue cycle activities and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements. The Interim VP will be expected to develop, maintain, and oversee policies, procedures, and workflow documentation related to revenue cycle operations, and to report key operational metrics to the executive team while collaborating on strategic execution planning.
