This position plays a critical role in supporting installation and project operations by coordinating schedules, managing project timelines, communicating with customers, and ensuring technicians have the resources needed to successfully complete projects.The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an Installation Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Permitting Coordinator, or a similar role within the electronic security, low voltage, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, fire alarm, or related industries. Candidates with strong permitting and jurisdictional experience, combined with project scheduling and coordination expertise, are highly encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate installation backlog and active projectsContact customers to schedule, confirm, and update installation appointmentsCoordinate technician schedules and project timelines to ensure efficient project executionServe as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the installation processOrder and track materials, equipment, and parts required for installation projectsCreate, process, and manage purchase orders (POs)Support the Installation Manager with day-to-day operational activitiesMonitor project status and ensure project milestones and deadlines are metFollow up promptly on customer, vendor, and internal communicationsMaintain organized project documentation and recordsAssist with customer service inquiries and provide project updatesSupport billing, accounts receivable, and administrative functions as neededWork closely with technicians, vendors, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project executionCoordinate permit applications and approvals when requiredEnsure projects comply with applicable local permitting requirements, codes, and jurisdictional regulationsQualificationsPrevious experience as an Installation Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Permitting Coordinator, or similar roleExperience within the security integration industry preferred, including: Access Control, CCTV / Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection Systems, Electronic Security Systems, Fire Alarm SystemsCandidates from related low voltage industries will also be consideredStrong permitting and jurisdictional experience highly preferredKnowledge of local permitting requirements, codes, and regulatory processesStrong project scheduling and coordination experienceExperience managing purchase orders, vendor communications, and material procurementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong customer service skills with a customer-first mindsetAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and email communicationStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-throughAbility to work collaboratively with technicians, customers, vendors, and management teams
