Manufacturing Test Technician

Our client, a global leader in energy management and automation , is looking to hire a Manufacturing Test Technician . This is an on-site role in Costa Mesa, California ! *This role is a 12-month W2 contract opportunity with benefits!* As a Manufacturing Test Technician , you will support manufacturing and test engineering operations by keeping test fixtures, testers, and electrical equipment safe and available for production . What You Will Be Doing Work under the direction of the Manufacturing & Test Engineering Manager and collaborate with Test Engineers to perform maintenanc e and troubleshoot test fixture and equipment to ensure standards are met Help minimize equipment downtime, support testing standards, and ensure work is being completed in compliance with safety regulations Ensure test equipment is properly maintained and operational Required Skills & Experience Associate of Arts/Science in Electrical Engineering or Technology from a recognized College / Four years' comparable experience or a Certificate of Completion from a recognized Technical Trade School / Advanced Military technical school High School Degree/GED or equivalent required Ability to use basic electronic test and measurement equipment , such as DVM’s , oscilloscopes , and to correctly interpret the results. The same goes for basic hand tools Knowledge of basic soldering techniques and use of soldering equipment Prior experience with high voltage 480 volts testing highly valued!
