What You ll Do

• Provide specialized Otolaryngology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Conduct patient evaluations and develop treatment plans for adult patients
• Manage clinic procedures and hospital admissions when necessary
• Respond to both assigned and unassigned patient calls within 15-20 minutes
• Participate in rounding and emergency coverage during scheduled days and on-call hours
• Collaborate with support staff, including nursing and office personnel, to ensure quality patient care
• Adhere to facility protocols and certification requirements

What You Need
Required:

• Active California medical license (or eligible via IMLC, not accepted here)
• Board certification in Otolaryngology
• At least 50 recent case logs within the past 24 months
• Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Availability for the full scheduled period (August 5-10, 2026)
• Ability to respond to calls within 15-20 minutes

Preferred:

• Experience in hospital and outpatient settings
• Familiarity with Athena and Cerner EMR systems

This assignment involves providing Otolaryngology services at a facility with 209 beds, which is stroke certified and equipped for comprehensive care. You'll be working alongside dedicated support staff and contributing to patient care for adults in both outpatient and inpatient environments. Shifts include scheduled days and on-call hours, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during a short-term commitment.
